Scott County Community Foundation Board Treasurer Daniel Brunner presents a check for $20,000 to Scott County School District 1 Superintendent Trevor Jones. The grant was awarded from the Morgan Family Endowment Fund at the Community Foundation and will be used for a new wellness clinic for students. The clinic, which was also made possible through a partnership with Foundations Family Medicine, will open this fall. It will be free, and will provide a yearly wellness physical for students. By offering on-site appointments, students will be able to reduce time spent at doctor appointments for sick visits and other needs.
