Scott County Community Foundation Board Secretary Terry Wolka, second from left, presents a grant for $5,862 to Scott Memorial Hospital Director of Business Development Shelley Lakins, CEO Michael Everett and Chief Nursing Officer Dawn Mays. The grant was awarded from the Rosalind English Trust fund at the Scott County Community Foundation. It will be used to assist with medical expenses for children, as well as community outreach efforts. The hospital provides free screenings, x-rays, health education seminars, hot meals to children during the summer, as well as many other outreach efforts.
