Scott County Partnership Fund
The Scott County Partnership Fund was established in a unique way – through a drawing for sponsors at the Foundation’s “Thanks4Giving” fall dinner. It is very appropriate that an organization which gives so much to our community was chosen to receive membership in this tribute program.
The Scott County Partnership is a not for profit, community-based organization founded in 1998 for the purpose of “Working together?to create a High Quality of Life and a Robust Economy for the people of Scott County through initiatives in workforce development, social services and education.”
A 30-member planning board representing business, education and community meets monthly to consider needs and address issues. The Scott County Partnership coordinates the Community Clearinghouse, the LifeLong Learning Center, Step Ahead and a variety of educational programs in Scott County that have resulted from planning together.
Any person may donate to the fund in honor of the Scott County Partnership.
