Austin High School Media Specialist Charlie Fraley and teacher Euleda Turner accept a check for $162 from Scott County Community Foundation Executive Director Jaime Toppe. The grant was awarded from the AHS Academic Team Fund at the Foundation and will be used for competition expenses and t-shirts. Fraley and Turner coordinate the Academic Team, which attended two invitationals in Corydon in March. The fine arts team placed first and third and the interdisciplinary team placed third at the competitions. Austin High School will host the area competition for 20 schools on April 21 at 5 p.m.
