Scottsburg Kiwanis Club President Al Riggle presents a check for $2,000 to Pastor Steve Gwaltney, board chairman for The Refuge. The grant was awarded from the Scottsburg Kiwanis Club Fund at the Scott County Community Foundation. The Refuge will provide trauma-informed care for displaced children. Long term plans include foster care placement, foster parent care and support, youth and family enrichment services, and family reunification support.
