2020 Lilly Scholar – Lyndie Foster

Lyndie Foster
2020 graduate, Scottsburg High School
2024 graduate, University of Evansville, Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health

I’m so proud to announce that I am a graduate of the University of Evansville with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health with an emphasis in Health Policy! I experienced amazing personal and academic growth through collaborative projects and participating in memorable extracurricular activities including studying abroad and traveling to nine European countries, serving in leadership positions in my sorority, volunteering at a local animal shelter, and finding my passion in human resources through two great internships. Each moment has contributed to an even better college experience than I could have ever dreamed of. I am deeply grateful to my professors for their unwavering support and mentorship who guided me with wisdom and patience. My gratitude extends to my family, friends, and classmates whose support made every challenge more manageable and every success more fulfilling. And finally, I would like to thank the Scott County Community Foundation and the Lilly Scholarship program for the opportunity to graduate debt-free and become a member of the Lilly Scholar alumni. With heartfelt thanks to all who have been part of my journey, I am eager to carry forward the lessons and values I have gained into my future endeavors. Since graduating, I have accepted a full-time position as an HR Coordinator at a Fortune 100 company and I’m excited to begin my professional career in human resources.”
