We are pleased to welcome Daniel Brunner to the Scott County Community Foundation’s Board of Directors. He began his term Oct. 1. The Community Foundation is a philanthropic organization that enables donors to support the community through scholarships and grants.
Daniel is the son of Tim Brunner, who is the Scott County Environmentalist, and Nancy Riley, who is the executive director of United Way of Scott County. His wife, Brittany, is a registered nurse at Baptist Floyd.
Daniel graduated from Scottsburg High School and received his bachelor of science degree in finance from the University of Evansville. He is employed as the branch manager at New Washington State Bank in Scottsburg. Daniel also serves on the Scott County Family YMCA board, serves as a corporate member of the Scottsburg Kiwanis Club and attends Fairview Christian Church. He enjoys fishing, farming and spending time with his family.
Daniel served as a member of the Community Foundation?s Finance and Investment Committee prior to joining the board. He shared that he joined in order give back his time to an organization that impacts our community.
?The Scott County Community Foundation is an organization that has a great mission and a group of volunteers that truly care about where they work and live,? said Daniel.
?We are excited to have Daniel join our Board,? said Executive Director Jaime Toppe. ?He is active in the community and we are excited to have his expertise to guide us in decisions that will positively affect Scott County.?
