Scott County Community Foundation board members Chris Fugate, far left, and Sheila Carter, far right, present checks totaling $8,985 to Scott County Heritage Center and Museum Executive Director Jeanne Abbott and Preservation Alliance Inc. President John Lizenby. The grants were awarded from the Joyce Hamilton Historical Preservation Fund and the museum?s endowment fund through the Community Foundation, and will be used to support operating expenses.
