The community is invited to enjoy hors d?oeuvres, drinks, music and mingling at a reception this month to ?Celebrate Giving? in an event we are hosting.? The special event will be held Tuesday, July 28 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Coffee House at Jeeves and will feature a brief presentation from grant recipients at 6:15 p.m. Bomar and Ritter will provide music, and door prizes will be awarded.
We have awarded over $3 million in grants and scholarships since we were?first established in Scott County over 18 years ago. Lilly Endowment has announced a major opportunity to increase this giving to the community through a $500,000 grant to Scott County last fall.
