Members of the Scott County Youth Grantmaking Council (?YGC?) Abby Doriot, Haley Mullins, Braden Hale and Lindsey Boswell, far right, accept a check for $376 from Vienna-Finley Elementary School students Hannah Thomas, Arianna Collins, Elise Coleman and Jarrett Richey. Students have the option to purchase popcorn every Friday for $1, and donate the proceeds to a different charity each month. YGC members were able to help with the popping and delivering one Friday, as well as thank all the students for their donation. Through a matching grant opportunity from Lilly Endowment, their donation will be matched with $188 for the YGC?s endowment fund.
