Scott County Community Foundation board member Jennifer Coward, left, presents a check for $7,025 to Scott County Clearinghouse Director Beth Trabue. The grant was awarded from the Scott County Hunger Fund at the Community Foundation and will be used to assist Clearinghouse clients with food, hygiene products, and emergency services. The Clearinghouse served 1,523 individuals with over 22,000 pounds of food in December. The Clearinghouse is especially in need of donations of toilet paper, shampoo, body wash, and other personal hygiene items.
