The Scott County Community Foundation (“SCCF”) has welcomed Shari Baumann to the Board of Directors. She began her term Oct. 1. The Community Foundation is a nonprofit organization that assists donors with their charitable giving. By giving to a permanent endowment fund, donors’ dollars are able to support the community with not only today’s needs, but those for generations to come.

Shari and her husband Robert reside in Scottsburg. Her daughter, Lily Hamilton, lives in Columbus with her husband JR and their children Everett, four, and Annie, newborn. Her stepdaughter, Christie Linn, lives in Mesa, Ariz., with her husband Kevin and their three children, Ayden, 11, Asher, 9, and Cirdan, 7.

Shari graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor of arts degree in accounting. She has been employed at Multi-Color Corp. for 26 years, where she is the Director of Finance Operations. Shari enjoys bicycling, reading, traveling to Arizona, and spending time with family and friends.

“I have been on the Finance Committee for a few years now,” said Shari. “I believe in the mission of the Foundation and so I wanted to get more involved.”

“We are excited to have Shari join the Board of Directors,” shared Executive Director Jaime Toppe. “She has been a great addition to our Finance and Investment Committee, and we’re glad she is dedicated to furthering her commitment with a position on the Board.”
