Scott County Community Foundation board member Ryan Payne presents a check for $85 to Austin Elementary School teacher Leslie Fox. The grant was awarded from the Gladys A. Berna Education Fund at the Community Foundation, and will be used for a “Lava Lamps and Volcanoes” project. Students will get to do hands-on experiments in their STEM classes.
The Gladys A. Berna Education Fund was established to honor the legacy of “Miss Gladys,” who taught in Scott County for 38 years. To donate to the Gladys A.
