Jerel is a math and physics teacher at Duchesne High School in St. Louis, Missouri. He is also the head varsity basketball and golf coach. In the summer, he teaches math through the Johns Hopkins University’s Center for Talented Youth. Outside of work, Jerel volunteers at his church and coordinates a tutoring program for at-risk St. Louis youth. He is passionate about ensuring all students receive a quality education regardless of their zip code. He also enjoys traveling the world with his wife, Natalie.
