Students Play the "Teachers" At Parent Night

Third grade students played the 'teachers' at Parent Night, held for Johnson Elementary teacher Tiffany Barrett's class. The students shared skills they learned on solving math problems using a new Singapore Math program. The families enjoyed refreshments and a "make-it, take-it" activity. Barrett was the recipient of a $400 Excellence in Education grant for her project "Making Math Meaningful (Parents 101)." The grant was made possible through the Timothy Michael Wolf Memorial Scholarship Fund at the Scott County Community Foundation.
