Excellence in Education Grant Introduces Students to the Theater

Steven Rahe of Actors Theatre of Louisville shows third grade students at Scottsburg Elementary how to show expression with their faces. Rahe taught the students how to use a stage voice and get into character, which the students will use when they present their own fairy tale plays. Katie Rose and Amanda Bagwell’s classes received a $400 Excellence in Education grant made possible through the Timothy Michael Wolf Memorial Scholarship Fund at the Scott County Community Foundation.
