Insurance Agents Can Benefit From Seminar

Read the article below:

Insurance and charitable giving are strong partners. Families and businesses often are interested in charitable planning, but need the instant liquidity that only insurance can provide. But what plans are best? How should they be funded? And what is the role of the CPA, attorney or other tax advisor?

These questions will be answered in a seminar for insurance agents, “Creative Charitable Insurance Strategies.” The event, sponsored by the Scott County Community Foundation, will be held Thursday, Feb. 14 at 9:30 a.m. at the Lifelong Learning Center. Brad Bumgardner, the executive director of the Parke County Community Foundation, will be the facilitator. Breakfast will be served.
The course has been approved for two course hours of continuing education credit through the Indiana Department of Insurance Agent Education Advisory Council.
Those interested in attending should call the Foundation office by Monday, Feb. 11 at 752-2057, email info@scottcountyfoundation.org or stop by the office at 60 N. Main St., Scottsburg.
