City of Austin Receives Two Grants From Foundation

City of Austin Mayor Doug Campbell displays the city’s new updated map, made possible through a $1,750 grant from the Scott County Community Foundation. Campbell said the map is used as a tool for economic development and receiving other grants. The City of Austin also received a grant for $9,237 to assist with the purchase of a leaf vacuum for a new yard waste composting program. The Foundation’s grant enabled the City to receive matching grant funds toward the purchase of the leaf vacuum and a wood chipper.
