Chamber presents Dollars and Sense Program to middle school students

Paul Meagher from Farm Credit Services and Brandon Polley from the Scott County Partnership teach the Dollars and Sense business program to eighth grade students at Scottsburg Middle School. The sessions introduced the basics of money, business and economics, finance and personal money management, balancing and more. The program, created by the Greater Scott County Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with Scottsburg Middle School and Scott County State Bank, was made possible through a $1,700 grant from the Scott County Community Foundation.
