
The Scott County Community Foundation will celebrate CAPE (Community Alliances to Promote Education) and Minds in Motion through “Lights On After School.” The fall festival will be held Thursday, Nov. 15 from 6-8 p.m. at the Family Resource Center in Austin. All Scott County elementary students and their parents/adult guardians are invited to attend the fun event.
The festivities will include art classes, a computer class, music and dancing class, cooking class, recreation and board games. Candy Meyer will have a “Make-it, Take-it” event featuring the Minds-in-Motion program.
Dinner will be provided. A free raffle ticket will be given to every adult guardian for a chance to win gas cards.
