Foundation Awards $100 Mini-Grant to American Red Cross

Scott County Community Foundation administrative assistant Rita Houchens presents a $100 grant to George Hill of the American Red Cross. Foundation staff and board members are presenting mini-grants to local organizations of their choice. Houchens chose the Red Cross because they respond to emergencies in the community regardless of financial need. The American Red Cross provides a variety of services, including providing disaster relief, health and safety programs, emergency communication for military personnel and their families, and blood and platelet services.
