Hosparus – The Community Hospice of Southern Indiana was awarded a $1,000 grant from the Scott County Community Foundation to provide bereavement counseling for children, adults and senior citizens of Scott County. The organization was surprised with the news at a recent visit. Shown are Scott County Community Foundation board member and grants committee chairperson Connie Kenninger, Hosparus Development Manager Jamie Longacre and Scott County Community Foundation board chairman Dale Hobbs. “Hosparus-Hospice of Southern Indiana is so grateful for the opportunity to receive a grant from the Scott County Community Foundation. With this grant, we will continue to provide bereavement services to families and friends of Scott County” said Longacre.
